How Lucky We Are to Hear Guanyin's Name in the Saha World!

Haih... i can even do my things right... how should i practice compassion towards others? We have an answer

In the Sutra, the Buddha told us that whoever who hears the name of Guan Shi Yin Pu Sa, wholeheartly recite Guan Shi Yin Pu Sa's name, Guan Shi Yin Pu Sa will hear it right away and the person who is having the sufferings will be free.

in this world we are so much being bound by different kinds of sufferings, which many times these sufferings has block us from practicing Compassion, which after sometime make us tired.

No Fears anymore! Guan Shi Yin Pu Sa is here to help.. here to help everyone, no matter if you are good or bad in the past, in the Sutra the Buddha also says

"if there is a person, who have committed crime or have not committed crime, but is being chained all over the body, recites the name of Guan Shi Yin Pu Sa, the chained will be broken and the person will be free"

here we can see Guan Shi Yin Pu Sa's great Compassion, who helps everyone, as long as the hold a heart to be sincere and of course to a new good person. Guan Shi yin Pu Sa will guide the person, step by step.

Here is Tripitaka Master Hsuan Hua's lecture on Guan Yin Pu Sa:

Guanshiyin (Avalokiteshvara) Bodhisattva has a great affinity with living beings in the Saha world. There is a saying in China, "Guanshiyin in every household, Amitabha in every place." This shows that everyone knows Guanshiyin Bodhisattva and Amitabha (the name means "Limitless Light" and "Limitless Life") Buddha, that their compassion has deeply entered people's hearts. Guan means "Contemplate"; shi means "world"; yin means "sounds." Thus the name means "Contemplating the World's Sounds."
Within Buddhism, Guanshiyin Bodhisattva holds a very important position. Some people say that Guanshiyin Bodhisattva is Chinese and some say he is a Westerner; some say the Bodhisattva is male and some say female. But now I am informing all of you that Guanshiyin Bodhisattva is neither Chinese nor Western, neither male nor female. Well, then, where does he come from? He fills empty space and pervades the Dharma Realm; he is in every place and yet not in any place. He appears according to what kind of body is needed to save each particular category of beings. He manifests in whatever physical form is appropriate to speak Dharma for beings; thus his identity is flexible. Guanshiyin Bodhisattva appears in the form of a Buddha to save those who are ready to become Buddhas. He appears as a Bodhisattva to save those who should become Bodhisattvas. He appears as a heavenly king to speak Dharma for beings in the heavens.
Within Buddhism, Guanshiyin Bodhisattva is one who goes about everywhere teaching and transforming living beings, inspiring them to bring forth the Bodhi mind. He first sees what a particular being likes and then makes them happy with what they like. Once they are happy, they will like to listen to the Dharma he speaks and gradually he will be able to rescue them. That's why I say that Guanshiyin Bodhisattva is not necessarily male or female; he could be male or he could be female. In any case those are just transformations. As to Guanshiyin Bodhisattva's own body, he is in a state of unmoving Suchness ¡X he is just like the Buddhas. Anyway, Guanshiyin Bodhisattva already became a Buddha a long time ago, by the name of Right Dharma Brightness. He simply appears as a Bodhisattva in order to teach and transform living beings. In Buddhism, he appears as a Bodhisattva; in other religions he often appears clad in white robes. In Christianity, he is the Holy Mother; he appears as the Holy Mother to teach and transform a certain category of beings. He appears in white robes and Christians call her Mother Mary, but actually she is Guanshiyin Bodhisattva manifesting in that form to inspire beings to bring forth a resolve that will lead them sooner or later to understand the Buddhadharma. Once they understand the Buddhadharma, they will bring forth the resolve for Bodhi. These are the endless miraculous functions and inconceivable states of Guanshiyin Bodhisattva.
Guanshiyin Bodhisattva uses kindness, compassion, joy, and giving to save all living beings. He saves beings from the seven difficulties, responds to two kinds of seeking, has fourteen kinds of fearlessness, speaks Dharma in nineteen ways, and has thirty-two response bodies. If childless people seek sons or daughters, their wishes will be granted. These are the two kinds of seeking. Therefore, in a Guanyin recitation session, any vow can be fulfilled and any result can be obtained, because Guanyin Bodhisattva responds to all requests. You may seek to leave the home-life, to remain a layperson, or to become a Buddha. Guanshiyin Bodhisattva has great kindness and compassion, and will not disappoint you no matter what you ask for. He'll definitely fulfill your wishes. Therefore, during the Guanyin session, you may seek whatever you like. Whether you seek a son, a daughter, wealth, or long life, you will be able to obtain them. But these are forms of happiness subject to "outflows"; you ought to seek the nonoutflow happiness of Buddhahood. Worldly riches, honor, and glory all come to an end, but nonoutflow happiness is endless and infinite. Let's recite Guanshiyin Bodhisattva's name more in order to realize an everlasting fruition.

Why Guan Yin Pusa/Buddha did not grant my wish come true?

Why Guan Yin Pusa/Buddha did not grant my wish come true?

The Answers: Why Guan Yin Pusa/Buddha did not grant my wish come true?

Many time people asking why that my wish did not come true, I prayed to Namo Guan Shi YinPusa and/or Buddha so much and so hard, why? Here are our answers from the Admin. Of Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa’s fan page:

If what we ask for (wish for), it will make us become more greedy, angry and foolish or if it is going to harm other beings. Then Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa and Buddha will not grant (assist) our wish comes true. Because the wish is not good for us, it is not helping us.

Then if what you wish or asking for, it is not made you become more greedy, angry and foolish nor harming other living beings. Then it is that you have to wait patiently for time and when the “conditions” is ready for wish to happen.

Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa / Buddha have to look into many factors and analyzed and decide what the best way to help you is. Even it is something you want; they will help you in the best way.

On other hand, sometimes what you wish for is very simple thing, then it is that you are not sincere enough, You must be very very sincere (concentrated) to able to feel the “connection” with Buddha/Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa.

What is sincere? The Sincere heart is a very concentrated heart. One must be very very focus and concentrated. So if you are very concentrated and very focus, then you are already very sincere. When you are so focus and concentrated on reciting Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa’s name or any Buddha’s name, that mean you are using the sincere for them.

How to increase your concentration?

Think of Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa and all Buddha are alike sunshine. They (their compassion for us) are like sunshine and shining on all the living beings all the time. Which living beings will have the connection; you have to very focus and concentrated to this Buddha like Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa. If you just thinking about Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa / Buddha for only few time a day only. Then the connection/effect is very low.

A Great method to explain is think of Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (and all Buddha/ Pusa) their compassion for all living beings (for all of us) are like a Mother thinking of her children all the time, the problem is on “us (the children)”.

Not on the Mother (the Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa and/or all Buddha/ Pusa), the problem is we (the children) doesn’t think of Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (and all Buddha/Pusa) all the time.
That’s why we did not feel the connection.

Second great way to explain this is:

Think about Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (His compassion) and All Buddha (Their Compassion) are like Moon at night in the sky, our heart is like a bowl of water, if your water (heart) is unclear and not calm, then you will not able to see the reflection of the Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa and/or Buddha’s image on your bowl (your heart). In other words, you don’t feel the connection. The moon (Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa/ Buddha) are there for us 24 hours per day. All the time. They never left us.

But many times our water (heart) is not clear because it has a lot of greedy, foolish and angry.a lot of selfishness. We all do have that but just in different level.

So if you can focus deeply on reciting Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (or you pick the one you felt most connected to- any Buddha’s name)

At that moment of that your are so focus on reciting Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (or Buddha name you choose) and you thinking about them like a child missing mom. You are not concentrated on anything else because you can’t have your thought on two spot at one time. You will increase your connection with Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (and all Buddha) and in turn will increased chance of your wish to come true.

Most of time when we are not thinking of Buddha and or Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa , our heart are mostly thinking about matter that related to anything about greedy, angry and foolish. Therefore, you will not be thinking about anything related to greedy, angry and foolish while you practice this method.

So that is one of best way to increase your concentrate connected to Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa. Keep reciting Holy names (for us, we recite Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa’s name all the time) and keep thinking about Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (or the Buddha/ Pusa you felt most connected too) using the below method we going to suggested you.

Once your water (heart) is clear, then you can see will able to reflection of Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa / Buddha. Then you feel the connection.

In other words, it is not Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa or Buddha is not there for us. It is we are not ready for them. They are always ready for us 24 hours 100% of all time.

There are two major ways Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa / all Buddha show to helping us:

1. First Method: The “Showing” method. You can and will feel that Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa and/or Buddha are helping you. You will feel it. We did as Admin. Of the Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa in real personal life experience.

2. Second Method, The “Silent” method. You don’t know Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa and/or Buddha are helping you. They are helping without letting you know. There are many reason but generally they cannot let you know because it will made you become more greedy, angry and foolish, or you become more attached.

Whatever they think it is going to help you, they will only doing so in silently.

They also don’t want you to increase your “attachment” to …they afraid we become attached. For example: someone always prays and always gets their wish grant but they become depend on Buddha and never work hard on themselves. They never want to learn the Dharma and just depend on prayed to Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa and/or Buddha all the time.

It’s like your parents, they love you and they always help you, but they want one day you grow up and able to become independent yourself. Or someone feels the connection and they feel “wow, I am so great that’s why Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (Buddha) helping me”...then they become show off and forgot about the importantance of Buddha.

So Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (all Buddha) doesn’t always help us by letting us know it.

Plus they don’t want you to think every time you wish for something; it is going 100% come true every time. Then if you always think this way, then you don’t want to learn about Dharma/Buddha’s wisdom. One day when your wish did not come true, then you will lose your loss faith/passion in Buddhism because you never truly understand what the most important thing about Buddhism is.

Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa and all Buddha / Pusa want us Two Most Important thing For Us which are Wisdom and Compassion.

In Buddhism, Compassion and Wisdom are most important.

First Most Important: To the top, We must learn from the Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa and all Buddha wisdom so we can discover our own wisdom and our pure heart-which our Buddha’ nature.

Second Most Important: To All the living beings, we must have Great Compassion for all living beings. We know and see they are suffering; we must help them as much as our ability. This is our duty as Buddhists.

Even you do not have enough ability to help them at this second/moment; you should at least have the Wish/thoughts (of helping them reduce suffering) in your heart.

Because when you have such great vow/wish that for all the living beings to be happy and reduce suffering, then your heart become more compassion/soften, then everything you do, you will able to handle daily matter (with others) in more wiser, and compassionate way, then in turn our life become better. And you can help others more too because your heart has more kindness and compassion.

So helping others is actually is helping our selves. We actually benefit ourselves first. Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa /All Buddha don’t see all living beings and they are separate unit like we do.

Like we see this is my mom, that is your mom, this is my child, which is your child.

Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa /All Buddha see all living beings and they are One Unit. That’s why when you prayed to Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa /All Buddha, they can feel.

Please Remember, All living including us are future Buddha, we all have Buddha nature. It just our Buddha nature has been covered/polluted by many greedy, angry and foolish we have in many lives in the past.

We must look up Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa /All Buddha as role model and teacher, we are Student of Buddha, so we must keep learning from them. It is not same as other religion; it is not a Master vs. Servant relationship.

It is Teacher and Student relationship, so one day we will become Buddha ourselves too, but we must keep learning the Dharma/wisdom Buddha teach us to get there.

Please keep in Mind:

When Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (or all Buddha/ Pusa) when they help us. Besides helping us, they are also teaching us wisdom. They are using this opportunity as a way to helping us become wiser. But we must have faith. Faith is very very important in Buddhism.

If you don’t have enough faith then you don’t have enough sincerely. Then you will not feel connected with Buddha. His blessing.

“The ocean of Buddhism /Dharma only can be entered by Faith”

Okay, let say you all the method we mentioned on the top. You’re learning Buddhism, you recite Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa (or other Buddha/ Pusa that you felt most connected to, but please keep focus on one Holy name for most of time to increase concentration). And you are doing everything you can to be a good Buddhists and spreading Compassion and loving kindness but your wish still not come true then you know it is:

1) Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa / Buddha have to look into many factors and analyzed and decide what the best way to help you is. Even it is something you want, they will help you in the best way. It just this moment is the right time yet.

2) Realized what we suffering now are result of previous Karma. So maybe they already helped us. None of us know how much bad acts we have done in the previous life. Many times we are already blessed by Buddha/Namo Guan Shi Yin pusa helped us reduce our bad Karma already.

Realized everything we do today, are result from our actions from the pasts (it could be this life and previous lives).

If one is currently suffering right now, one must realized everything happened to us now is result from our action from past. So everything is fair. Everything you do today is the result of what you done in the past.

Then as now you are follow the wisdom of Buddha and doing the right/good things and try to be a good Buddhists, then you must have faith for the future. Because your current actions will lead to future good Karma. Another important things, your suffering is not going last forever, it is like happiness. It is not last forever. It is you catch a cold, it will eventually move on. Like when storm is here, you might be seeing and feel sad/scared as the lighting and the raining is going on at this moment. But please realized not every day that there is going to be storm.

The sunshine will eventually come out again . The storm is not going to be forever. Our suffering is also the same. It is always changing. So we must realize just like happiness, suffering come and go too.

“The Wisdom is only way to stop suffering and reached the enlightenment ”

When we are first start learning Buddhism (like we are little child), Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa /All Buddha will help us. But to one point, Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa /All Buddha want us to grow up and able to help ourselves that we can be have compassion and wisdom like them so we can help others.

The goal of All Buddha/ Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa is teach us to eventually become Buddha ourselves, not for us to be depending on him all the time. So one day we have capable to handle ourselves and help others and become a Buddha ourselves.

Please remember! If you truly sincerely passion about want to benefits and helping all the living beings to be happy and reduce suffering, Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa /All Buddha will do everything to meet your need because that is what they want too. They want to reduce suffering of the all living beings because they have great compassion for all of us just like a Mother for her child.

They will grant your wish as long it is not those few factors we mentioned (not to increased your foolish, greedy and angry, or harming someone and it is all depend on what the best for you and also your sincerity and concentration.)

They will grant your wish. They are probably not going to grant you for your wish to be a millionaire (that is increased your greedy) but they will ensure you will able to meet the proper Dharma, the Buddhism teachers, and live adequately to learn Buddhism.

Therefore, please join us by:

1. Reciting Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa more often and thinking of Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa like missing your mom. Pick an image of Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa you felt most connected to and then keep thinking of that image and reciting Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa all the time. Please keep our 5 precept well:

Thank you so much for your time reading this article. Please share this article with others.

We hope all the living beings will reduce and eventually soon stop suffering. The only way is by learn Buddha’s wisdom/Dharma. We truly wish all the living beings can be happy and well from the bottom of our heart. That’s why we are here.

We forever very Thankful to Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa, all the Buddha, and all Pusa whom also have such great and kind vow to want to saved all the living beings from stop suffering. They are our Teacher and Role Model to follow.
